ALMOND OAT BREAD, GLUTEN FREE AND RAW/VEGAN

I am always trying to find that perfect loaf as I have always loved #Bread. I  used to bake bread, grinding my own Organic flour, for years.  Since going #Raw and #glutenfree I have made some very interesting "Breads". This is one of my successors. It was delicious.  The difference is that one slice is all you need as it is so full of life and especially fiber. You could do this in the oven at your lowest heat leaving it over night or cook at 350deg for 1 hr.

Ingredients

3 cups Almonds soaked for 6-8hrs

1 cup oat groats (soaked over night)

3TBS psyllym

1 cup flax meal(ground flax)

1/4 cup fresh dill or 2 TBS dried

1 tsp salt

water added to make dough if needed

2 TBS maple Syrup or sweetener of choice

Drain water from Almonds and put in blender with some water to make a pulp. A #vitamix works very well. If you make #AlmondMilk and have pulp left over this would be a good way to use it up.  Grind the oats  in blender or food processor.  Put Almonds and oats in a bowl.  Add rest of ingredients adding more water as needed to make a dough( a mixture that you can mold into a loaf of bread.)  Place on your dehydrator sheet using a teflex sheet if the dough is too wet.  Dehydrate for 8 hrs and remove teflex sheet and dehydrate for a further 8 hrs until the loaf is dry.  Dont over do it.  Enjoy.
