In my coaching I try to get my clients on a good Breakfast regimen and offer recipes to help. Keeping it simple and easy for our busy lifestyles. Starting the day with a protein Breakfast helps you stay on track for the rest of the day. For my clients that are struggling with change I allow one cheat day a week while they are forming healthy habits but the one criteria is that they have to have a wholesome breakfast. This is sneaky as usually it takes the pressure off the rest of the week but after a good breakfast, guess what??? They often lose their appetite for that food item they have been craving.

This Granola is a staple in my household. I have teenagers that are fussy and eat this granola with almond milk or with coconut yogurt and fruit. If my teenagers eat it I know I have created a delicious dish. You can make a large amount, I usually double the recipe so that it will last a long time. It does store well.

Unfortunately store bought granola is full of sugar and usually has wheat which I find people are wanting to move away from. Gourmet Granola is better but can be expensive. Of course if you are too busy this would be a healthier option.

The added benefit is sprouting all your seeds and nuts which is not necessary but adds a powerhouse of nutrients making your breakfast even more nutrient dense with enzymes that will help you digest your food.

Dehydration can seem like a huge learning curve but I make it easy and fun with some of my plant based classes. You want to learn healthy plant based eating before you get too technical as you want to be successful in your health journey and not discouraged by all these new tools. I believe in keeping it simple and manageable. This Granola is simple, adaptable to the Keto diet, Raw, Vegan or Oil free diets or lifestyle.

I hope you give this a try and remember if you do not like an ingredient, leave it out and add something you do like. Have fun experimenting.
